Sound on sound off was a concert I hosted during South by Southwest 2007, in the parking lot behind my old recording studio, Singular Audio. I felt that SXSW, being a commercial enterprise, needs a lot of counterpoint from Austin's new/weird music scene to emphasize that there are many other things happening in the Austin music scen besides crappy blues-rock bands trying to get 'signed.'
